This Week’s Shame Award Goes To:

Status Quo Politicians

This week, the Democratic Convention began.  So what are they doing to change the lobbyists, the free-spending and splurging?  According to ABC News, nothing.  Gobs of money are being spent on luxury, high-end food and specialty goods.  The party of change isn’t doesn’t seem to be changing much of the status quo that has taken over politics in America.  Though he has vowed to fight the lobbyists, Obama apparently has said that it’s too late to change what’s already plan. Maybe so. Read the whole article here to see why I’ve awarded this week’s shame award to Status Quo Politicians. McCain doesn’t seem to be any better.  He looks like he  has catered plenty enough to lobbyists himself  as discussed here.  Both parties talk about how they’re the party of change, they’re the ones to cut the pork, blah, blah, blah.  But does anything ever change?

Obama apparently has said that it’s too late to change what’s already plan. Why wouldn’t he wait until he gets all that money and then say something about how wrong it is! He has been taking money from lobbyist all along and saying that his money comes from small donations! Obama is a lier!

  2. Thanks for stopping by. I think he is just another politician, saying all the things he does and not being completely honest. I’m sure there are some high $ givers – has to be with all those Hollywood types.

  3. Reminds me of the UN Food Crisis Summit back in June. Here was the lunch menu for the attendees:

Vol au vent with maize and mozzarella

Pasta with a cream of pumpkin and prawns

Braised veal slices with cherry tomatoes and basil

    Spinach a la romaine

    Fruit salad with ice cream

wine: Orvieto Classico Poggio Calvelli 2005

The hypocrisy of world leaders these days is just amazing.

  4. Yeah, I should add them to the Hall of Shame. I remember that and the gall of these people just amaze me.
